In these unprecedented times, rest assured we are working around the clock to process your application in a timely manner. Our global network continues to operate where permitted.

Covid-19 operational surcharge

WHY ARE WE CREATING THIS SURCHARGE?

You will all have seen in the news or experienced firsthand the dramatic impact the current COVID-19 crisis in Thailand is having on document processing, office closure, travel restriction and temporary lockdown, resulting in significant reductions of working hours or limitation of application can be received each day at the Government processing centre, visa office or the consulate in Bangkok area. Sometimes it creates complete cancellation of a confirmed appointment on very short notice.

These factors, among others, increase our costs during this period to unsustainable levels.

This Covid-19 Operational Surcharge will allow us to cover part of the operating cost increases and the necessary human resource adjustments during the time of this emergency situation.

Please find below the mechanism of this surcharge:

Special Covid-19 operational surcharge - 350 THB will be added to each task/application.

IN WHAT INSTANCES WILL THE SURCHARGE APPLY?

This applies to any applications that we cannot complete in-house and required a visit to any other office or processing unit. (eg. this charge will not apply to translation requests as we can complete it within our office). We will charge the surcharge for each visit that required our representative to be presented.

If an appointment or submission has been cancelled by the processing office, we will not charge you again. This situation has been covered by this surcharge. Hence, we have to charge this surcharge due to these situations are happening frequently.

ฺBecause of the Government policy of limiting applications that can be accepted on any given day. This creates the situation where our representative needs to visit the submission office very early in the morning to obtain the submission queue ticket and the waiting time is a lot longer than usual. Furthermore, this does not guarantee that we will be able to submit the application that day.

WHEN WILL THE SURCHARGE TAKE EFFECT?

The Covid-19 Operational Surcharge will be effective as of the 13th May 2021 until further notice.

If you are about to submit or already submitted your information for the facilitation of expediting processing Thai Police Clearance Certificate application. Suspending of free registered air-mail to international destinations

Effective April 8th, 2020, we suspended free registered air-mail until further notice to the address outside Thailand due to Thailand Post (tm) having suspended international services to most countries. As Thai Airways International has suspended all the flight to and from Bangkok and they are the main carriers to transport Thailand Post (tm) international mail.

At this time, we can only offer you DHL/FedEx shipping to international addresses. Please note that we will not increase the postage fee to be shipped internationally by the courier. We will bear the cost of extra surcharge from the courier as they also face difficulty to run a logistic operation.

Alternatively, we can offer you to hold your document until the situation has improved or we can ship to any address in Thailand free of charge.

If you apply for a visa and the visa office has requested you to provide a police certificate, we also offer to ship your document directly to the respective embassy or visa office in Bangkok, Thailand free of charge.
